Family of Kidz is seeking a Psychologist to perform psychological evaluations for children in homes and preschools across Suffolk County, NY. The role may be part-time or fee-for-service with potential for full-time based on caseload and credentials.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, using standardized tools, and drafting clear reports while coordinating with families and supervisors. Licensure requirements include NYS Psychology credentials and related certificates.

Qualifications

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages.
• Utilize assessment tools such as the Wechsler scales and BASC to support evaluations.
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain positive communication with supervisors, employees and families.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages.
• Utilize research-based assessment tools such as WPSI-WPPSI, Bayley Scales, Conners Early Childhood, BASC-3, Vineland AB scales.
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain positive communication with supervisors, employees, and families.
• Ensure compliance with government and agency regulations and operating standards.
• Participate in meetings as needed.
