Family of Kidz in Nassau County, NY seeks a licensed psychologist to conduct psychological evaluations for children in homes and preschools. You will write clear diagnostic reports, communicate with families, and ensure compliance with regulations. Role offers part-time or full-time potential with compensation per evaluation.

Hours include after-school availability; benefits are provided for full-time staff, and travel to local sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Psychology required for this role.
• NY licensed psychologist or limited permit required; NY School Psychologist cert preferred.
• Experience with autism spectrum evaluations and preschool-age assessments is valued.
• Strong communication with families and collaboration with schools and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages

Education

Doctoral Degree in Psychology

NYS Licensed or Limited Permit Psychologist

New York State School Psychologist Certificate

Experience working with or evaluating children on the autism spectrum

Experience evaluating preschool age children

Minimum of 1 year experience in supporting children and families

Bilingual is a plus
