Family of Kidz in Suffolk County, NY seeks a licensed psychologist to perform evaluations for children across homes and preschools. The role offers part-time hours or potential full-time status (fee-for-service), with after-school availability and a varied caseload.

Responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations, collecting social/developmental histories, writing comprehensive reports, and maintaining open communication with families and supervisors.

Formación

• Doctoral degree in psychology and active licensure or permit in NY.
• School psychologist certification issued by NYSED is required.
• Experience evaluating children, including preschoolers and those on the autism spectrum.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct psychological evaluations and collect developmental histories.
• Utilize standardized assessments such as the WAIS/Wechsler scales and related tools.
• Write clear diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain communication with families, supervisors, and schools.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Participate in meetings as needed.
