Family of Kidz in Suffolk County, NY is seeking a licensed psychologist to conduct psychological evaluations for children in homes and preschools. The role supports families and collaborates with therapists, schools and caregivers.

Both part-time fee-for-service and full-time options may be available, with compensation per evaluation and interview-based caseload planning. The candidate will use established instruments and write clear reports, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Psychology required.
• NYS license or permit to practice psychology.
• Experience with autism spectrum populations.
• Experience evaluating preschool age children.
• Minimum 1 year in a child-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations for children of various ages.
• Use standardized assessment tools (Wechsler, Bayley, Conners, BASC, Vineland).
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain positive communication with supervisors, families and staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Participate in meetings as needed.
