Qualifications

• Eight years of education and/or professional social work experience, including at least two years as a fully licensed social worker (LSW).
• Licensing/registration/certification requirement: Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established quality service standards.
• Counsel workers on casework to assist with difficult cases and caseload problems.
• Review staff performance against standards to assess productivity and training needs.
• Coordinate with other agencies and community resources to deliver services.
• Authorize service provision and client/caseworker expenditures.
• Negotiate contracts with service providers and others to ensure appropriate services.
• Analyze cases to ensure compliance with laws and initiate hearings.
• Direct after-hours coverage to ensure appropriate staffing.
