Job summary

Outpatient Therapist role in the CHR Child Outpatient program is a fee-for-service, part-time position based in Willimantic, CT. Evening hours and varied scheduling reflect the program's needs in serving children and families.

The role emphasizes assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with families, with licensure requirements including LMSW/LPC-A/LMFT-A; LCSW/LMFT/LPC or Licensed Psychologist preferred. Per diem compensation is $45 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Experience with trauma, mental illness or substance use disorders preferred.
• LMSW, LPC-A or LMFT-A licensure required; LCSW/LMFT/LPC or Licensed Psychologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with the program model.
• Conducts clinical and risk assessments.
• Collaborates with individuals to create individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Maintains client and staff records according to agency policy.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention and participates in supervision and meetings.
