Job summary

Project Bread in Massachusetts is seeking a Program Associate for Child Nutrition to strengthen access to quality meals across the state. The role spans outreach, partnerships with schools and districts, and administrative support to keep programs running smoothly.

You will help launch CACFP work as part of a fast-paced team, travel within MA as needed, and join an affiliate committed to equity, learning, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Prior nonprofit or community-based experience preferred.
• Familiarity with school food service programs is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within Massachusetts.
• Personal commitment to solving hunger in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Program Outreach & Support: expand Summer Eats, identify partners, support site creation, provide technical assistance.
• Administrative Program Support: plan events, manage mailings, prepare materials and slides, maintain records.
• Organizational Responsibilities: support Walk for Hunger events, participate in organization-wide activities, foster inclusive environment.
