Job summary

The Sioux Falls School District's Child Nutrition Services seeks a Child Nutrition Manager for Central Kitchen to supervise staff, coordinate meal production, and ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with district guidelines.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–3 years of food service experience, attendance at CANS certification courses, and the ability to work Monday–Friday 5:30am–1:30pm. Starting pay is $24.46 per hour.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION LEVEL:

High school diploma

EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

One to three years’ experience in similar position

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:

Post-offer physical (funded by the District) required prior to starting position. Requires constant hearing, hand-eye coordination, mind-eye coordination; intermittent keyboarding, sitting and lifting. Frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands, fingers, standing, walking, and carrying.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Required to attend certification courses offered by CANS before or after hiring. Previous institutional quantity preparation of food service experience 1 to 3 years preferred.

Pay Day: Last working day of each month.
