Job summary

Carrus Care in Tomball, TX seeks a qualified mental health professional to oversee regulatory compliance, treatment planning, and quality management within our psychiatric program. You will ensure adherence to standards, monitor records, and drive improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s in nursing, social work, or related mental health field with 3 years of psychiatric experience and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing, social work, or a clinical mental health field (or equivalent).
• Three years of psychiatric healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of JCAHO/HCFA, OSHA, and state/federal regulatory requirements preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program compliance with JCAHO, HCFA, state and patient rights standards.
• Coordinate, maintain, and evaluate treatment planning efficiency.
• Process unusual occurrence reports and implement corrective plans.
• Coordinate performance improvement and quality management activities.
• Monitor medical records for documentation of care and treatment effectiveness.
• Evaluate the appropriateness of medical/psychiatric emergency interventions.
• Monitor core measures data collection (HBIPS).
• Attend to policies, procedures, and workplace requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
