Job summary

Carrus Health in Houston, TX seeks a Program Director of Operations to oversee outpatient facilities and support the Director of Operations across Sherman behavioral facilities. You will supervise clinical services, case management, and therapeutic interventions for patients and families.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology and 2–5 years as a Social Worker in mental health, with leadership experience preferred. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Requires two to five years of experience as a Social Worker in the mental health field.
• Leadership Experience Is Strongly Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages operations for all disciplines within the outpatient facility(s) and assists Director of Operations with Sherman behavioral facility(s).
• Oversees therapeutic services to patients and their families, to include case management and therapeutic responsibilities.
• Seeks resources to answer unmet needs.
• Ensures program compliance with JCAHO, HCFA, State, and patient rights regulatory standards.
• Coordinates performance improvement activities and is responsible for the effectiveness of the program quality management activities.
• Evaluates the appropriateness of all medical/psychiatric emergency interventions performed in the program.
• Manages other PHP/IOP Clinic Managers.
• Directs and manages effective clinical service delivery system using applicable principles of social work, patient psychosocial assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, family intervention, patient/family education and treatment planning.
