Job summary

Mount Sinai is seeking a Research Manager to oversee projects in the Center for Child Health Services Research. The role supports the Center Director in regulatory compliance, contracting, and the submission of research grants and manuscripts, including pre- and post-award management and coordination with external partners.

The incumbent will collaborate with the research team on project development, enhance Center operations, and help implement policies and protocols for ongoing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in sciences or related field.
• 5 years experience in a hospital/medical environment and 1 year supervisory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee research projects within the Center for Child Health Services Research and assist the Center Director in regulatory compliance, contracting, and grant/manuscript preparation.
• Collaborate with the research team on project development and planning to improve Center operations.
• Facilitate timely communication and proactive, responsible decision making.
• Contribute to development and implementation of policies, systems, and protocols for ongoing research and Center activities.
• Manage research projects for faculty, including IRB applications, data use agreements, contracts, team communications, and data output preparation.
• Identify, respond to, and escalate potential and actual risk management issues.
• Assist in writing and submitting research grants and manuscripts; support pre/post award management.
• Perform other related duties.

Education
