Job summary

The role provides guidance for research grants, contract proposals, awards and agreements for research teams, ensuring compliance with federal, state and private agency rules as well as Mount Sinai Health System policies. Strong supervisory skills are desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in grants management or closely related field.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees budgets, grants and contracts paperwork, and subcontracts.
• Reviews proposals for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Coordinates IRB and financial disclosures as needed.
• Liaises with department admins and funding agencies for edits prior to endorsement.
• Monitors monthly grant activity and spending across projects.
• May implement special projects and prepare funding packets.
