Job summary

UCFS seeks a Child First Clinician I to deliver intensive, home-based intervention for prenatal to age five and their caregivers. You will strengthen caregiver-child relationships, provide clinical services, and coordinate with a care team.

The role includes 75% travel, 25% remote time, and a 40-hour work week with occasional weekend coverage. Master’s level licensure and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field required.
• CT state LMSW/LPCA/LMFTA licensure or eligibility.
• CPR/First Aid certification eligibility.
• Travel to New London, Windham, and Middlesex counties (75%).
• Ability to work two late nights per week and possibly weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat mental, emotional, developmental and behavioral difficulties in young children and families.
• Formulate and review treatment plans based on assessments.
• Engage in learning collaboratives and relevant trainings.
• Collaborate with providers and community partners to support treatment.
• Respond to client crises during work hours and on-call.
• Maintain up-to-date case records and timely data entry.
