Job summary

Family Nurturing Center is seeking a part-time Case Aide to support a children’s visitation program and assist families. You will supervise children during visits when transportation gaps arise, bring toys and snacks, escort to the restroom, organize activities, and maintain clean, safe visitation spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree or some college/training in child development preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and knowledge of child development; experience with children is required.
• Preference for candidates with trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing training; maintain confidentiality and work respectfully with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children before/after visits when transportation gaps occur.
• Bring developmentally appropriate toys and activities, snacks, or items requested by the visitation facilitator.
• Escort children to the restroom as needed; organize toys and activities for visits.
• Clean/sanitize toys regularly; ensure visitation rooms are clean and organized.
• Provide back-up for visitation/direct service as needed; lift up to 40 lbs.
