Job summary

BAMSI seeks a Child & Family Support Specialist to assist youth and families in Brockton, MA, delivering flexible, individualized services designed to strengthen resilience and promote positive outcomes.

You will provide therapeutic mentoring, contribute to developing and implementing plans with families and providers, and engage with clients to support emotional and behavioral growth. A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree required plus 1 year experience.
• Lived experience with 5+ years working with children and families.
• Fluency in English required; multilingual skills a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and flexible services to youth and families with multiple needs
• Deliver interventions designed to maximize skills and strengths
• Support families through structured, strength-based therapeutic relationships
• Assist with implementing individualized plans developed by families and providers
• Engage youth and families to reduce child protective concerns and encourage resiliency
• Participate in clinical services and assessments to support emotional and behavioral needs
