KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children in our centers. You will follow menus, maintain equipment safely, and help ensure a hygienic kitchen environment in Cedarburg, WI.

You’ll work with center staff to support enrollment goals and deliver high-quality experiences for children and families. We welcome candidates with a Food Handler’s license or willingness to obtain one, and prior institutional cooking experience is preferred.

Formación

• Love for children and a strong desire to make a difference daily.
• Familiarity with safe food storage, allergy considerations, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Ability to follow nutritious menus and prepare quantities for center population.
• Basic math skills for measuring servings and portions.
• Possess or willingness to obtain a Food Handler’s License.
• At least one year of institutional cooking; food ordering exp preferred.
• Two+ years working with children; strong communication with parents in English.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies.
• Dispense and store medication, as requested.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation according to KinderCare and licensing requirements.
• Support center staff with daily duties and contribute to enrollment and engagement goals.
