KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children across our centers. You will follow menu guidelines, maintain sanitary kitchen operations, and collaborate with staff to support a safe, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Familiarity with accurate food storage and allergy considerations.
• Ability to follow nutritious menus and prepare portions for center population.
• Basic math skills for measuring and portion calculations.
• Possess a Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain.
• At least one year institutional cooking; food ordering experience desirable.
• Two or more years working with children; highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies.
• Dispense and store medication as requested.
• Complete timely documentation according to KinderCare and licensing requirements.
• Assist with other daily center duties as needed.
• Partner with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
