Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately if incidents or accidents occur.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when traveling for work.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Assist with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.

Experience Desired

• Six months experience in home care preferred
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation

License Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
• Current CPR certification

State Specific Requirements

• WI: Must be listed on the Home Health Aide registry
• Category I and II: Home Health Aide - Medicare Certified Home Health Provider
• Category III and IV: 40 hours training or 6 months of equivalent experience
