Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in the United States seeks a Driver to safely transport staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other locations. You will ensure safety, comply with regulations, and support center duties as needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 21+, CPR/First Aid, flexibility, and good communication. Prior experience transporting children is preferred; lifting up to 40 pounds may be required. Equal Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
• At least 21 years of age and able to drive center vehicles.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to work flexible hours and assignments.
• Good verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• At least two years of experience transporting children preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 40 pounds is strongly desired and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting staff and the children we serve to and from school, field trips, and other locations.
• Complying with KinderCare and all governmental regulations regarding the care of children.
• Keeping the Center Director informed of any necessary information regarding the care and safety of children.
• Assisting with and taking on responsibility in other daily center duties as needed.
• Transporting center vehicle for servicing when needed.
• Attending and participating in staff meetings, center events, and parent/customer meetings.
