Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Driver to safely transport staff and enrolled children to schools, field trips, and other locations. You’ll follow all regulations, maintain contact with the Center Director, and assist with daily center duties as needed.

Ideal candidates are 21+, have a valid driver’s license with limited violations, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain, and can lift up to 40 pounds. Excellent communication in English is required.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with no more than three moving violations in past 3 years.
• At least 21 years of age and able to drive center vehicles.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to work flexible hours and assignments.
• Good verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• At least two years of experience transporting children preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 40 pounds may be required in some classrooms or the kitchen.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children during transport to schools, field trips, and other locations as approved by the Center Director.
• Comply with KinderCare and all governmental regulations regarding child care.
• Keep the Center Director informed of necessary information regarding care and safety of children.
• Help with and take on responsibility in other daily center duties as needed.
• Transport center vehicle for servicing (oil changes, inspections, etc.).
• Attend and participate in all staff meetings, center events, and parent/customer meetings.
