Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Driver to safely transport staff and children to school, field trips, and other locations. You will ensure safety, comply with regulations, and assist with daily center duties as needed.

Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, be 21 or older, and possess CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain it. Flexible hours and good communication skills are required to succeed in a dynamic, family-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with no more than three moving violations in the past three years (no alcohol or drug-related convictions).
• At least 21 years of age and able to drive center vehicles.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to work flexible hours and assignments.
• Good verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• At least two years of experience transporting children preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 40 pounds is strongly desired and may be required to work in some classrooms or in the kitchen.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other locations.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of children during transport.
• Comply with KinderCare and governmental regulations regarding the care of children.
• Keep the Center Director informed of information relevant to the care and safety of children.
• Assist with other daily center duties as needed.
• Transport center vehicle for servicing (oil changes, state inspections, etc.).
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, center events, and parent/customer meetings.
