Job summary

CAP Services seeks an Early Childhood Teacher at the Children’s Discovery Center in Stevens Point to supervise infants 6 weeks to 1 year and implement developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans.

Minimum qualifications: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with 1 year of experience; Wisconsin Professional Recognition registry within 3 months; CPR for infants/children with AED within 2 months; Abusive Head Trauma training before starting.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and one year of experience
• Must obtain a certificate from the registry of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Professional Recognition system within 3 months after assuming the position.
• Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child CPR w/AED (CPR) within 2 months of hire.
• Certificate of completion of Abusive Head Trauma training prior to working at the center.

Start Date: As soon as possible
Starting Pay: $18.98-$20.88 per hour, depending on experience Status: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
