Job summary

CAP Services Inc. seeks a full-time role at the Children’s Discovery Center in Stevens Point, WI, starting as soon as possible.

The position offers hourly pay ranging from $18.98 to $20.88, with a standard 37.5-hour work week and full-time benefits including 401K and health coverage. The candidate will supervise infants and toddlers, design weekly developmentally appropriate activities, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and one year of experience.
• Must obtain a certificate from the registry of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Professional Recognition system within 3 months after assuming the position.
• Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child CPR with AED (CPR) within 2 months of hire.
• Certificate of completion of Abusive Head Trauma training prior to working at the center.

Duties: Responsible for the supervision of children, for preparing and conducting weekly lesson plans which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, for on-going assessment of children, and for maintaining compliance with all related regulations. Working with children ages 6 weeks to 1-year olds.

Minimum Qualifications:
