Job description

Position Details

Full-time position available with preschoolers. This is Monday-Friday working (4) 10-hour days. Must be able to work until 6pm.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  1. 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  2. 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  3. Must have CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements. You will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons' policies and legal regulations, ensuring children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate is between $18.25 and $22.30. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
