Summary of Job Duties:

Join our team as a Child Care Teacher Assistant to help create a vibrant, nurturing, and enriching learning environment. Work closely with Lead Teachers to design and deliver meaningful learning experiences that foster growth in all areas. Ensure a safe, healthy, and stimulating classroom where curiosity and creativity thrive. Promote family engagement and support strong connections between children and their families.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED plus six months experience in early childhood environment
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for preschool
• Must be enrolled in a CDA program to be completed within two years of hire

Additional Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a successful learning environment based on ECERS standards
• Model appropriate language and behavior; guide learning through discovery
• Assess children's development and plan activities accordingly
• Share learning progress with parents via home visits, conferences, and notes
• Collaborate with parents, service providers, and volunteers
• Perform other duties as assigned
