The Learning Experience - Oak Creek is seeking a caring and energetic Child Care Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You’ll help children learn through play, build confidence, and create a safe, engaging classroom.

This full-time role (Monday–Friday) offers growth opportunities, paid training, and benefits such as health and vision insurance, and a competitive hourly rate of $16–$18 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a daycare, preschool, childcare center, or early childhood setting preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.
• Patient, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must meet applicable state childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children.
• Lead and support age-appropriate learning and play activities.
• Encourage language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Guide children through meals, rest time, outdoor play, toileting/diapering, and classroom transitions.
• Provide positive guidance and attentive supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and center leadership.
• Follow applicable childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
