Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Coordinator Child Care at the Kenosha County Job Center to oversee the subsidy program and manage daily operations. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with regional offices to advance high-quality child care services.

The role requires collaboration with families, providers, and county partners, with a focus on monitoring subsidies, audits, and fraud prevention.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Wisconsin Shares and related rules.
• Ability to develop, implement and review procedures.
• Experience supervising staff in a social services setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide child care case management for eligible populations.
• Supervise and mentor the child care unit staff.
• Make referrals and respond to participant needs with team coordination.
• Develop and implement policies for child care regulation.
• Maintain payment procedures and provider payments.
• Oversee audits, IPV fraud referrals and overpayments.
• Prepare hearings and monthly reports.
• Train staff and disseminate policy updates.
• Assist families in locating regulated child care providers.
