Job summary

VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Kids Club Lead Associate to ensure smooth program operations and to supervise in the Kids Club Director’s absence. You will train staff on programs, policies, procedures, and systems, and support childcare, Parent’s Night Out, Camp Days, and Summer Camps.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, able to manage daily activities with minimal supervision, and uphold high standards of safety and ethics.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising child care programs or activities.
• Understanding of children’s behavior.
• Ability to implement children’s curriculum and programs.
• Prior leadership experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and MSWord.
• Experience with transactional (POS) systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
• High standards in ethics and service.
• College degree in related field (preferred).
• Professional Rescuer First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date.
• Training will be provided by Villa Sport at no cost to the candidate.
• Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting of weights up to 40 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing and balancing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Kids Club operations in the director’s absence.
• Train staff on programs, policies, procedures, and systems.
• Support childcare, Parent’s Night Out, Camp Days, and Summer Camps.
• Supervise department operations when the director is unavailable.
