Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Child Care Cook, Food Specialist to prepare meals for our enrolled children within the school’s menu and budget.

You’ll adapt to menu changes and ensure meals and snacks align with state and federal requirements, while supporting a warm, child-centered environment. In this role you’ll plan home-style, nutritious menus, manage kitchen inventory and order supplies, follow the daily menu and health regulations, and assist in classrooms as needed as

Qualifications

• Work experience in cooking for multiple individuals in a childcare facility.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations.
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work.

Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritional meal plans in the boundaries of the school's menu and budget, and prepare meals/snacks for children and staff.
• Follow the daily menu provided by the Director which incorporates USDA, licensing, and/or health department regulations.
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed.
• Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
