Job summary

United Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a Child Care Outreach & Equity Specialist to strengthen child care across communities.

You will coach providers, mentor families, and connect them with resources to help start, grow, and sustain early childhood programs. The role emphasizes outreach, collaboration with schools and community partners, and advancing inclusive practices to serve all families and children effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 25 hours of Achieve/Develop-approved early childhood training in the past five years or willingness to complete upon hire.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Experience with young children, families, providers, or community programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support child care providers through coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance.
• Lead outreach to recruit providers and guide those opening or expanding a child care business.
• Build partnerships with schools, licensors, and community groups to expand resources.
• Advance equity and ensure services are accessible and welcoming to all communities.
