Community Action of Eastern Iowa in Southeast Iowa is seeking Child Care Consultants to support and coach child care centers and in-home programs. You will work with providers across Cedar Rapids, Tama, Vinton and Williamsburg to promote quality care and adherence to Iowa standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, professional development planning, and continuous improvement, with flexible daytime scheduling and potential telecommuting options to enhance service delivery.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field with endorsement.
• Knowledge of high quality early care and education practices.
• Ability to apply Iowa regulations to program operations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support, consultation, coaching, and technical assistance to child care providers.
• Assist providers to follow Iowa HHS regulations and implement quality practices.
• Encourage participation in IQ4K and assess program strengths and needs.
• Help plan and carry out program improvements and develop professional development plans.
• Collaborate with providers and team to ensure quality outcomes.
