Job summary

Community Action of Eastern Iowa's CCR&R of Southeast Iowa seeks a full-time Program Services Manager to supervise and support the Program Services team in delivering effective regional services and meeting contractual outcomes.

The role partners with regional leadership to coordinate priorities, provide supervision across content areas such as Behavioral Health, Community Development, Data, IQ4K, and Professional Development, and to ensure compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising teams in nonprofit or human services preferred.
• Strong collaboration with regional leadership and cross-program coordination.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness of and access to CCR&R services among child care programs, providers, and community partners.
• Work collaboratively with regional leadership and staff to coordinate priorities, support team effectiveness, and address regional needs and contractual requirements.
• Provide support, supervision, and ongoing monitoring across contractual content areas, including Behavioral Health, Community Development, Data, IQ4K, and Professional Development.

Job description

• Location: This position is eligible to telecommute from Southeast Iowa and must live in our service area. Routine work at our main office in Davenport will be required for meetings and workgroups.

Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) of Southeast Iowa, a program of Community Action of Eastern Iowa (CAEI), has an opening for a full time Program Services Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is supervising, directing, and supporting the Program Services team in delivering effective regional services and achieving contractual outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

Promote awareness of and access to Child Care Resource and Referral services among child care programs, providers, and community partners.

Work collaboratively with regional leadership and staff to coordinate priorities, support team effectiveness, and address regional needs and contractual requirements.

Provide support, supervision, and ongoing monitoring across contractual content areas, including, but not limited to, Behavioral Health, Community Development, Data, IQ4K, and Professional Development.

Minimum Level of Education/Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Family Services, Education, Organizational Leadership, Nonprofit Management, or a closely related field. and demonstrated successful supervisory experience.

Travel Requirements:

CCR&R of Southeast Iowa covers a 19-county area. Travel throughout the region is needed to support child care programs and communities. This position would also have occasional travel to Des Moines area for statewide meetings. Mileage is reimbursed.

Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) of Southeast Iowa is part of a statewide network to support and promote quality care throughout the state of Iowa. CCR&R provides child care providers with training, technical assistance, and resources that support regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement. The program also contributes to recruitment and retention by helping providers start new programs, strengthen business practices, and sustain operations over time. Through these efforts, along with working with area employers and businesses, CCR&R increases access to high-quality child care options for Iowa children and families.
