Job summary

Fox Valley Park District is seeking a Part-Time Child Care Attendant at Vaughan Athletic Center in Aurora, IL. The role supports daily childcare activities, greets families, and ensures a safe, clean environment for children.

Requirements include being at least 16, excellent customer service, dependable transportation, CPR and first aid certification, and a friendly, outgoing personality. Prior childcare experience is a plus; position is at-will with varying shifts.

• Must be CPR and first aid certified or willing to obtain certifications.

• Should have an outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, the Childcare Attendant is responsible for attending to the children, cleaning toys and the overall cleanliness/maintenance of the childcare room. This is an at-will position.
• Serve as a welcoming presence for families and help maintain a safe, fun environment at Vaughan Athletic Center.
