BrightPath Kids in Sugargrove, IL is seeking an Associate Center Director to join our childcare team. You will work with the Center Director, teachers, and families to create a welcoming, safe, home-away-from-home environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.

You will assist with budgeting, staffing, and policy adherence, supervise staff, and step in as Center Director when needed, driving service quality and family satisfaction while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• 2+ years of childcare or teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Must be able to function independently within the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.

Responsabilités

• Work with Center Director, teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children.
• Ensure safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Guide staff to meet classroom objectives and expectations.
• Assist with budgeting, expenses, revenue and annual goals.
• Substitute as Center Director in their absence.
• Lead and motivate staff to maintain a professional environment.
• Review staffing, scheduling and classroom assignments.
• Maintain effective communication with children, parents and staff.

What will you be doing?

As an Associate Center Director, you will work with the Center Director, teachers, and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Ensure that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Assist the Center Director with adherence to childcare licensing requirements as well as internal policies of the company.
• Understand, manage, and track expenses, revenue, and goals for annual budgeting.
• Substituting as Center Director in the event of their absence.
• Serve as a resource and leader to all personnel, striving to create and maintain a professional and motivating work environment.
• Review staffing needs, scheduling, and classroom assignments.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with children, parents and staff.

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
