Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Sugargrove, IL is seeking an Associate Center Director to partner with the Center Director, teachers, and families to create a nurturing learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Responsibilities include supervising classroom staff, ensuring licensing compliance, managing expenses and budgeting, and stepping in for the Center Director when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required).
• 2+ years of childcare or teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Ability to function independently within the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assist Center Director with licensing requirements and internal policies.
• Understand, manage, and track expenses, revenue, and goals for annual budgeting.
• Substituting as Center Director in the event of their absence.
• Serve as a resource and leader to all personnel, striving to create and maintain a professional and motivating work environment.
• Review staffing needs, scheduling, and classroom assignments.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with children, parents and staff.
