Job summary

New Morning Schools in Bedford, NH is seeking a full-time team member to support daily classroom activities and care routines at 23 Back River Road.

You will assist the director and lead teacher with curriculum planning, supervise children, and maintain a clean, organized classroom while following NH childcare licensing rules.

This position features 9:30-5:30pm hours, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for in-service training and potential growth within the program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a state background check.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Patience and love for working with kids.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director and lead teacher’s long-range planning with regard to curriculum, the program philosophy, and goals.
• Comply with daily, weekly and monthly curriculum plans based on developmentally appropriate practices.
• Supervise and interact with the children in all areas of the program.
• Establish an environment that supports children’s independence and development.
• Maintain a program that supports a positive experience for each child.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times both on and off site regarding anything that involves New Morning School.
• Maintain classroom and materials, keeping the classroom environment clean and organized.
• Follow all center policies and adhere to NH Childcare Licensing Rules.
• Work as a member of the NMS team.
• Complete a minimum of 24 hours in-service training per year in Core Knowledge Areas
