Responsibilities and Requirements

1. This position requires satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policy, and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
2. Physical lifting requirements necessitate completing a favorable pre-employment physical.
3. Must be able to obtain, maintain, and provide evidence of current immunizations, including annual influenza vaccinations, and be free of communicable diseases.
4. Complete assigned training, including Food Handlers certification, within the specified time from hire or assignment.
5. Shift work is required to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or during special situations.
6. May require transporting children in a government vehicle; a valid state driver’s license and a good driving record are necessary.
7. This is a Mission Essential position performing a Mission Critical Function, which must continue uninterrupted after emergencies.
8. Regular contact with children under 18 requires a background check and periodic re-verification.
9. Must be at least 18 years old and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent. Proof must be uploaded with the application.
