Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care system, is seeking a new-grad or experienced Psychologist to join our team at Samaritan Neuropsychology in picturesque Albany, OR.

This role involves structured testing, clinical interviews and diagnostic recommendations for children and adolescents 2 - 18 years old with complex developmental and behavioral needs, particularly for Autism Spectrum Disorder, (ASD).

Expect to use ASD-specific tools within this role such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) or the Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised, (ADI-R). Additionally, this provider will utilize other cognitive, academic, and social-emotional screenings such as WISC, WIAT, BASC, and others.

Job Requirements

  • Currently licensed/eligible in Oregon in psychology and must meet credentialing standards
  • Prior experience in pediatric psychological assessment and report writing is preferred, but new graduates with focused training in child/adolescent assessment and ASD evaluations are encouraged to apply. Mentorship and support will be provided to ensure a smooth transition.
