Summary
PM Pediatrics Health Care is seeking a child and adolescent Psychologist to join our virtual Behavioral Health Teletherapy Program. This unique opportunity for pediatrics will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD and conduct disorders in an extended virtual primary care collaborative model via teletherapy.
PM Pediatric Care is seeking a part-time Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health team. The Child and Adolescent Psychologist will provide comprehensive behavioral health psychoeducational testing, provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD and behavioral disorders, and provide supervisory oversight in the form of individual/ group supervision, cosign, and/or clinical guidance and oversight for other therapists on the team.
Description
- Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence-based practices
- Provide individual, family and group therapy for patients using evidence-based treatment modalities
- Act as co-signer for therapists with limited licenses
- Participate in collaborative care team meetings
- Provide Functional Behavior Analysis services for the School Health team on an as needed basis
- Monitor patient service quality and progress for referred patients
- Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and therapy notes and implement interventions in a timely manner
- Maintain licensure and professional development as required by licensing board
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology.
- Licensed in NY.
- Post licensure, 2 or more years of experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care and providing culturally competent care; previous experience in an integrated behavioral health setting preferred.
- Develop collaborative relationships and referral agreements with community mental health providers; monitor patient service quality and progress for referred patients.
- Proficient computer skills: experience in electronic medical records preferred.
- Proven management and solid interpersonal skills, including ability to deal with patients and staff effectively in high-stress situations.
- Works in harmonious partnership with health center staff to accomplish common goals and objectives.
- Supports the PMP mission and vision.
- Required Education: Earned Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA).

The salary/rate range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary/rate for this role. Please note that actual salaries/rates may vary within this range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and based on experience and qualifications.
