Summary

PM Pediatrics Health Care is seeking a child and adolescent Psychologist to join our virtual Behavioral Health Teletherapy Program. This opportunity provides comprehensive behavioral health services for common primary care conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders through teletherapy within an extended virtual primary care collaborative model.

We are seeking a part-time Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health team. The psychologist will conduct psychoeducational testing, provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy for conditions like depression, anxiety, ADD, and behavioral disorders, and offer supervisory oversight to other therapists on the team, including individual/group supervision, cosigning, and clinical guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform psychosocial assessments following evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities.
  • Act as co-signer for therapists with limited licenses.
  • Participate in collaborative care team meetings.
  • Provide Functional Behavior Analysis services for the School Health team as needed.
  • Monitor patient service quality and progress.
  • Complete documentation such as biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and therapy notes in a timely manner.
  • Maintain licensure and engage in professional development as required.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology.
  • Licensed in NY.
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience.
  • Strong communication skills; bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally competent care; experience in integrated behavioral health preferred.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with community mental health providers.
  • Proficient in computer skills; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle high-stress situations effectively.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with health center staff and support the mission and vision.
  • Earned Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
