Job summary

Methodist Family Health in Little Rock, AR seeks an outpatient therapist to provide direct mental health services in clinic, school-based, and community settings for children, adolescents, and adults. The role includes diagnostic assessment, individual, family and group therapies, and crisis intervention in a HIPAA-conscious environment.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field and licensure by the Arkansas Board.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• Licensed, in good standing, by Arkansas Professional Board as LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LPE, LPE-I, PhD.
• Experience in school-based or community-based behavioral health settings.
• Experience working with at-risk youth.
• Trauma Focused CBT certified or in progress.
• Familiar with Electronic Medical Records and documentation.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work with diverse patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services including diagnostic assessment, individual, family, and group therapies and crisis intervention.
• Develop treatment plans with clients, families and treatment teams and review updates per policy.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings and supervision.
• Coordinate scheduling, authorizations, transfers and discharges with admin staff.
• Complete all clinical and admin processes in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Communicate with supervisor, colleagues, clients, families, schools and other professionals.
• Coordinate care with MFH continuum and external organizations as needed.
• Maintain licensure through required CEUs and provide copies to HR.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure safety and confidentiality.
