Albertina Kerr Centers in Portland, OR, seeks a Psychiatric Technician II to support children and adolescents during acute psychiatric episodes. You will conduct evaluations, assist with daily living, and lead educational and therapeutic groups in a strength-based model.

Join a multidisciplinary team using Collaborative Problem Solving, with swing shifts on Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday, 1:00 pm–11:00 pm. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and peers.
• Adept problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and capacity to learn new systems.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of clients.
• Ensure clients' personal safety and provide basic needs such as food and hygiene.
• Consult treatment plans to implement appropriate care.
• Teach social skills and provide opportunities for socialization.
• Facilitate educational and therapeutic groups for clients.
• Document notes and carry out incident reporting.
