Albertina Kerr is seeking a Psychiatric Technician Supervisor for the Swing Front shift at our Crisis Psychiatric Residential (Subacute) program in Portland, Oregon. You will assist the Program Manager in supervising psychiatric technicians, managing milieu, and identifying program needs, while participating in staff training and ensuring adherence to agency policies.

The Swing Shift runs Sunday through Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, social science, or related field.
• Six months’ supervision or management experience.
• At least one year working with children with psychiatric/behavioral needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to assess child needs based on presentation and behaviors.
• Ability to work with others using collaborative problem solving.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist Program Manager with hiring, supervising, and evaluating staff.
• Assist in training staff to meet core competencies and agency values.
• Respond to health concerns per policies and procedures.
• Ensure authorization for emergency safety interventions.
• Ensure staff fulfill mandatory abuse reporting duties.
• Provide clients with basic needs and hygiene assistance.
• Support program financial sustainability by coordinating with administration.
• Review emergency safety intervention documentation as assigned.
• Fill in duties as needed for psychiatric technicians.
