Albertina Kerr Centers seeks a Psychiatric Technician Supervisor for the Swing Front shift at its Crisis Psychiatric Residential (Subacute) facility in Portland, OR. The role supports the Program Manager, supervising staff, managing milieu, and ensuring staff adherence to agency values and policies.

The position runs Sunday-Wednesday 1:00 pm-11:00 pm and includes training development, patient care, and coordination with administration to address program needs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, social science, or a related field.
• QMHA certification verification per Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR).
• At least six months’ supervision or management experience required.
• At least one year of experience working with children with high psychiatric/behavioral acuity.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Program Manager with hiring, supervising, and evaluating psychiatric technicians.
• Train and develop staff to core competencies and agency values.
• Respond to health concerns per policies and procedures and communicate with administration.
• Ensure emergency safety interventions are authorized.
• Ensure staff fulfill mandatory abuse reporting duties.
• Provide basic client needs such as food, clothing, and hygiene assistance.
• Identify program needs and coordinate with administration to maintain financial sustainability.
• Review emergency safety intervention documentation as assigned.
• Cover duties of psychiatric technician as needed.
