Job summary

Ellie Mental Health Hamden is hiring Child & Adolescent Outpatient Mental Health Therapists for a full-time hybrid position with flexible scheduling. Our culture emphasizes autonomy, flexibility, compassion, and diversity while delivering quality mental health care.

The role offers hybrid in-person/telehealth service delivery, supervision for licensure, CEUs, and a competitive compensation package ranging from $65,000 to $90,000 per year, plus health, vision, dental, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences and on track for licensure
• Clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LPCA, LMSW, MFTA, etc.)
• Experience with intakes, treatment plans and case notes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients
• Submit documentation within 48 hours per policy
• Comfort with diverse client base and inclusive practice
• Proficient in Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant a plus)
• Familiar with using Apple devices in clinical settings
• Clinicians credentialed with insurance panels are preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses and implement treatment plans with documentation
• Provide excellent client service and collaborate with a dynamic team
• Use creative interventions to help clients achieve goals
• Prepare and submit session documentation per guidelines
• Full-time clinicians must maintain a minimum caseload of 25 client visits/week
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, school personnel, and other Ellie staff
• Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
• Perform other meaningful tasks to support the role and mission
