Job summary

WellSpan Philhaven in Mount Gretna, PA, is seeking an RN for our Child & Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. The role covers 12‑hour shifts (3 am–3 pm) on an every-other weekend schedule with rotating holidays, and offers sign-on eligibility.

As a beginner-practitioner level nurse, you provide care per nursing processes, coordinate with other disciplines, and may perform unit-specific skills. Licensure and BLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree in nursing required.
• RN license required at hire.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate direct nursing care per nursing process and standards.
• Safely administer prescribed treatments and medications.
• Prioritize tasks based on patient condition and workload.
• Identify patient needs for safe handoffs during transitions.
• Document patient responses and progress in EMR.
• Support quality and safety through evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members.
