Job summary

WellSpan Philhaven in Mount Gretna, PA is seeking an RN for the Extended Acute Behavioral Health Unit. This full-time role covers 3 pm to 3 am with every-other weekend and rotating holidays, serving adults 18+ in a recovery-focused setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care and support transitions to community-based care. The position emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, documentation, and quality/safety across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• RN license in good standing; multi-state license preferred and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as primary nurse on the unit.
• Safely administer prescribed treatments and medications.
• Plan and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in the EMR.
• Lead handoffs and ensure safe transitions of care.
