Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors from an accredited Nursing School/Program required.
• Registered Nursing License required; license is in good standing.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• 2 or more years of experience in addiction or inpatient psychiatric health setting preferred.
• Experience in creating and maintaining patient treatment plans preferred.
• EMR experience preferred; computer-based knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and activities of daily living.
• Coordinate, delegate, evaluate and monitor nursing care for psychiatric patients.
• Demonstrate leadership and adaptability across units/populations.
• Administer and monitor medications under physician supervision.
• Oversee nursing workflow and possibly assume Charge Nurse responsibilities.
