The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a Child Activity Center Leader to provide a fun, safe environment for children while their parents use the YMCA facility. You will supervise children, organize games, read stories, and maintain records to ensure safety at all times.

Responsibilities include warmly greeting families, planning age-appropriate activities, keeping toys clean and accessible, and supporting positive behavior through constructive discipline.

Formación

• Specialized skills: strong character values, clear communication, and emotional maturity.
• Experience working with children is required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and supervise children, create a welcoming environment.
• Plan and monitor engaging activities; ensure safety of children.
• Maintain cleanliness; ensure toys are safe and stored properly.
• Enforce safety policies and sign-in/out procedures.
• Communicate with parents and respond to questions or concerns.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; uphold YMCA core values.
