The Vineyards at Dodon seeks an experienced General Manager & Winemaker to oversee all aspects of the farm and winery, from agriculture to hospitality and brand development. This hands-on senior role reports to the owners and focuses on profitability, operational excellence, and restorative ecosystems.

The candidate brings deep business insight and winemaking expertise, with 8+ years in winery management, leadership, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Enology, Viticulture, Fermentation Science, Agriculture, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree in Enology, Viticulture, or Business Administration preferred.
• 8+ years of winery management experience.
• 5+ years of commercial winemaking leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing harvest operations and production planning.
• Knowledge of winery compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead all winemaking activities from vineyard through bottling.
• Oversee harvest planning, grape intake, crushing, fermentation, aging and bottling operations.
• Ensure all wine production meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop strategic vision, annual business plan, and budgets.
• Manage winery operations, hospitality, sales support, and brand development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
